Stimulate the artistic imagination (article 1. Aims of the association); the natural landscapes, especially those of Provence,  are at the heart of our artistic regard, to paint and to draw them so as to promote an awareness of the beauty of our natural environment.

Van Gogh Workshop:

Arles is not only an emerging centre of world contemporary art; nor is it only rich in art since Roman times; Arles is where Van Gogh’s art exploded into life: in vibrant colour; and the dynamic brush strokes have immortalised the landscape and inhabitants of Arles and its rythmn of life at every instant from morning to night.

“La Demoiselle”:

Since 2006, the assocation has developed a mobile art laboratory. Based on an iconic 1974 Citroen 2CV car, known as the “Demoiselle” (roughly translated as a Little Dragonfly), this vehicle is at the heart of mobile public art events. This creative art space is available and accessible to all in our community: children, local Arlesian families, different neighbourhoods of Arles and visitors to the city. This mobile art laboratory makes stops in different parts of Provence and beyond.
